Our Forklift courses can be designed to cater for the experienced operator or the novice who has not even sat on a Forklift.

For example, if a person can supply a Log Book correctly filled in and signed off, but does not have access to a Forklift, we can offer the use of our Forklift for an Assessment only.

Another scenario could be that the applicant cannot supply a Log Book, but has extensive experience driving a Forklift. We can offer a one day Training Course with Assessment at the end of that day. For the totally inexperienced applicant, a 2 or 3 day course would be offered which would cover:
  • Site Inspection
  • Pre- Operation check of Forklift
  • WorkCover Requirements
  • Safe operation of Forklift
  • Practice loading on to pallet racks
  • Practice loading on and off trucks
  • Safe parking of Forklift
  • Post-operational checks
  • Theory component

    OUTCOMES: On successful completion of the course, the issue of a 'Certificate of Attainment' in partial completion of Certificate III Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage) TLI20107 as well as all paperwork necessary to be submitted to obtain a WorkCover Licence.
