| Apply Traffic Control Plans |
| Description | This course provides training for staff who are required to set up and work with Traffic Control Plans (TCP).
Note This course does not qualify participants to select or modify existing TCPs, or control traffic with a Stop-Slow Bat.

| Learning Outcomes |
- Identify safety implications of traffic control at road works and personal responsibilities.
- Set up and Close down traffic control devices according to a nominated TCP, to OHS and legislative requirements.
- Operate a 2-way radio correctly and effectively.
- Check, clean and store equipment on completion of work and close down a TCP.

| Target Audience | Any person who may be required to set up and work with a TCP, issued by supervisors or line managers. These can include:
Field Staff.

Adequate literacy
AND HOLD
A NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate or equivalent

Classroom including practical exercises.
Participants must complete knowledge and skills assessment at the end of the course.
